🐑 In farming, life often comes full circle and no one illustrates that better than Rhys Edwards.

He runs a flock of 520 Welsh Texel Mules alongside his parents, Russell and Eira, at Hendre Ifan Goch near Bridgend, South Wales.

Having previously finished lambs off grass using a 21-day rotational grazing system, the family's approach has evolved in recent years.

Our LFA board delegates met at Russell, Eira and Rhys Edwards' farm in Bridgend today.

The family use EID recording, have been involved with the Ram Compare project and GrassCheck GB. They also have a hydro & other diversifications on-farm. A great knowledge exchange opportunity

@LlyrDerwydd Just mind they don’t catch their feet on the chicken slats. Experimented with some a few years ago with square 25mm spacing and the mule ewes with thinner hoofs kept catching their feet. Looks good though!! 💪
