A lot of Americans think socialism would be better than the economic system we have now
No!
Socialism has never succeeded anywhere
What we need to do is fix capitalism
Here's how, latest from The Pinpoint Press

Rates have soared this year
Is that a problem? Not yet
When will it become a problem?
Here's a guideline ~ when the 10-year Treasury rate exceeds nominal GDP growth
Right now we're okay
Today's learnings from @yardeni and @biancoresearch
This stuff actually happened:
~ Rape culture persists
~ TN replaces death penalty with maim penalty
~ Stupid senator tricks
~ ICE sued ๐ช
~ Supreme disapproval

1/ I placed a Kalshi bet on WTI oil falling below $75 at the end of 2026.
There's solid logic behind my bet
Here's the WTI price action since Trump started the Iran war on February 28
5/ If I'm right my $50 Kalshi bet will pay out $164.50
I could bet a lot bigger by buying put options on oil ETFs, shorting Big Oil stocks or doing other high-risk investments
But I'm not that smart (or dumb)
4/ Biggest problem now is we just don't have enough housing
Zoning is a pain and builders want to put up mansions not starter homes
Plus Trump's stupid tariff raise cost of lumber and building materials
And his deportations thin out the construction workforce and push labor costs up
3/ After the housing bubble burst starting in 2007, prices came back down
Unlikely to happen this time
~ No foreclosure crisis
~ Household balance sheets healthy
~ Home equity solid
2/ What's different now is we just had one of the most abrupt home prices surges in history
That price surge was bigger and much faster than the housing bubble of 2003-2006
So higher rates arrives as prices are already off the charts
/END Where that leaves us: The governing class sees a different economy than most Americans live in
