Today we remember Breonna Taylor and the injustice of her death.
Her life was taken in a tragic and unjust act that continues to call our nation to confront the systems and policies that allow such harm to occur. Honoring her memory requires more than remembrance. It requires a continued commitment to justice, accountability, and the work of creating the Beloved Community.

Seconds before they call my name.
I’m standing in the same sacred space where Martin Luther King Jr. once delivered truth with courage in 1968. The air feels heavier here l
On February 25, 1948, at just 19 years old, my father, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was ordained and appointed associate minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta by his father, Rev. Martin Luther King, Sr.
He had already preached his first sermon there months earlier, but that ordination marked a deeper commitment to a calling that would shape not only his life, but the conscience of a nation. Ministry for him was never confined to a pulpit. It became a lifelong pursuit of justice, love, and nonviolence.
I reflect today on the courage it takes to answer a calling, especially at a young age, and on how obedience to purpose can transform the world.

Join me in honoring my mother, #CorettaScottKing, this #MLKDay.
I’m grateful for her commitment to freedom, true peace, justice, and nonviolence.
I’m inspired by her love for humanity, her faith in God, and her consistency to purpose.
Without her, there would be no federal holiday commemorating my father’s birthday.
And The King Center, which she founded less than three months after Daddy was assassinated, would not exist.
Salute, Mama.

Honored to spend time with Shelly “Butch” Anthony — the visionary behind the legendary This Is It! Southern BBQ and a powerful author in his own. Grateful for wisdom shared, faith affirmed, and lessons that will stay with me. 🙏🏾
@BarackObama A recommendation book to read Mr. President is called Unmasked. A memoir of how one man overcame death with the support of family, faith and forgiveness. He’s the first to describe in great detail of his near death experience at beginning of pandemic.
Thankful for parents who filled my plate (in many ways). Grateful for time with family today. Remembering the land, suffering, and greatness of Indigenous people. Thinking of our global family. We have many rivers to cross. May we learn to love well.
Excited to be presenting at the 10th Annual ACCG/Georgia Municipal Association Government Communicators Conference! 🙌 Attendees will hear about my LASER Strategy for managing stress and the powerful journey that led to publishing Unmasked: Overcoming Death. Grateful for the op.
🎥 Releasing another video in my series on the LASER Strategy to manage stress before stress manages you.
Today, I’m diving deeper into the first step: Listening. Too often, we listen to respond instead of listening to truly understand.
