@TerminalAscent@inthesamedevice@mikedlong5150@SenLouiseLucas Well, that's how I'm seeing it too. It's not that I don't think more could be paid, and maybe it should be, but a bargain was made. The next, wise thing to do would be to alter the arrangement for future development. Lucas should spend time on this effort. IMHO
@inthesamedevice@mikedlong5150@TerminalAscent@SenLouiseLucas What would be the impact if they "built one next to..." him?
If building had already begun, shouldn't we stick with agreement or risk negatively impacting future biz interest? Future projects could be renegotiated, but any started should be grandfathered in...no?
@RobinDuggan3 "...massive taxpayer spending..."
There was an idea which would cost 300 million to fix it up prior to this. Obama admin spent tens of millions on a failed effort prior.
The thing looks much better, it was awful before...and there is no shame in having pride in your nation.
@jonsopel Those guns we have a right to as citizens were the first thing the Redcoats tried to take & the main reason the USA was able to push Britain as they did. It's also the key to security and defense...unlike your citizenry who have been disarmed & may not long have kitchen knives.
@ssurovell Wait! All the comments in response to this post are negative so allow me to offer one positive. Well done, Mr Senator...in your banner, you are the only one wearing an N95 type mask...all others look to be wearing fabric.
