Due to concrete overlay work, the Watt/I-80 Transit Center will be closed after 9 p.m. and before 8 a.m. beginning the night of Sunday, June 28 through the morning of Friday, July 3. Work will resume the night of Monday, July 6 at 9 p.m. It will continue to close at 9 p.m. and reopen at 8 a.m. daily until the morning of Thursday, July 9, 2026.
During these closure hours, the light rail station (lower level), will be closed and have a bus bridge (shuttle bus service) between the Watt/I-80 upper level and Roseville Road Station (no bus bridge stop at Watt/I-80 West).

SacRT is considering advancing the Downtown Riverfront Streetcar Project under a statutory CEQA exemption, as allowed by California Public Resources Code Section 21080.25.
This exemption reflects a recently passed state law that supports sustainable transit project and applies to zero-emission projecst that take place entirely within the public right‑of‑way.
