All-American Ella Schmit announces she will be starting a Girls Wrestling Academy at Dowling.

The Bettendorf native says she will move to Des Moines after graduating in May to hit the ground running and build the academy from the ground up.

“I'm beyond excited to announce that I will be starting a girls wrestling academy at Dowling. I can't wait to build not only champions, but strong, tough, and independent women. The best is yet to come.”
