For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.
If I had a nickel every time the beloved main character died in a show and they immediately did a time skip afterward without showing the mourning or grieving process of their loved ones, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it happened twice
stop trying to show me the alien from Disclosure Day!!!! the alien from Disclosure Day is NONE of my business until i’m sat in a theater watching Disclosure Day!!!!
Steinfeld is a great actress but I wouldn’t even say she was the best female performance in Sinners.
Navarrette on the other hand is a generational performance like, holy shit.
Sam Raimi was 20 when he made The Evil Dead
David Lynch was 25 when he made Eraserhead
So why are someone people (jealous, loser millennials) now pretending Kane Parsons (20) and Curry Barker (26) are too young to be, and incapable of, directing a film?
Pope Leo XIV on AI:
“Artificial intelligence needs to be disarmed. The word [disarmed] is strong I know, but deliberately chosen because this moment needs words capable of attracting attention, awakening consciences, and indicating paths forward for humanity.”
Lexi isn’t really about that screenwriting life because if my friend started talking about Nazis, Black cowboys, encounters with God, and working with the DEA, I would’ve dropped everything and pulled out a paper and pen. These are the stories you should be killing for! #Euphoria
According to reliable insiders, the final episode of Euphoria season 3 will set up a spin off starring Alexa Demie where Maddy moves to LA and her father gets a job at the Palm Restaurant. Her Uncle Junior works there who was a Jehovah's Witness, believe it or not.
‘OBSESSION’ may become one of the only films in history to earn $100M+ on a budget of less than $1M.
The film is expected to earn more this weekend than it did in its opening weekend, a rare feat.
