On September 23, 2022 an Oakland teacher called Jeremy Taylor was celebrating his 46th birthday. Across the country, in Pennsylvania, a troubled Jane Doe he’d taught nearly two decades prior was texting her friend, saying he’d sexually abused her when she was a student. Then, the next day, she reached out on Facebook to wish him a belated Happy Birthday.

Jane Does friend told the police about the accusation. Within a few months, Taylor would lose his job and nearly lose his freedom. A private investigator hired by the school who blogs about the “global MeToo movement” even accused him of grooming two other students, even though neither had said anything untoward happened between themselves and Taylor.

The criminal case fell apart during discovery, which produced a trove of exculpatory evidence that suggested the allegation was completely fabricated, by a woman in the midst of an apparent mental health crisis. But Taylor’s life was ruined anyway. He hasn’t worked since, and has spent more than 1.2 million dollars in legal bills trying to clear his name.

Now, even Jane Doe’s one time friend who reported to the police tells me she believes Taylor is innocent.

Did “the ad” call Amy Acton a liar or was it her estranged mom who lost custody of her kids and fled the state with an alleged pedophile accused of raping her own 12 year old daughter? They’re actively trying to construct an alternate reality of this story where none of the context that makes them look bad (which is to say, all of the context) exists. This is not going to work on anyone who isn’t hyper-partisan beyond belief.

Yeah there was zero trial because he fled the state…Vivek and co think never conceding defeat or apologizing for anything will work for them because that kind of shamelessness has worked for Trump in the past, but they don’t have the sauce. This just looks obstinate and soulless.

The Diversity Lotto Program is dumb but it was created by Congressional Act decades ago—- the State Department obviously has a legal obligation to implement it. If you don’t like a law (and control congress) you should probably repeal instead of just pretending it doesn’t exist.

A Federal Judge in California named Jinsook Ohta just ruled Marco Rubio must bring in 55,000 foreigners per year in the Diversity VISA Loterry program

The federal judge, who was born in South Korea, says the foreigners must be specifically from countries like Africa and Nigeria and other countries “with historically low rates of immigration to the US”

The Middle East is also specifically eligible for this program to send us their foreigners through this lottery

The judge was appointed by Joe Biden

Democrats knew what they were doing, they strategically appointed federal judges under Biden to ensure our country would be flooded with 3rd world foreigners
