I have to remind myself of this a lot, although replace "talking" with "thinking." I'm such an information junkie I just want to take it all in and need to make sure I'm putting it all into practice as well.
@ameetrai How do I set up the RS indicator on the top? I assume there is a YouTube tutorial since you all have excellent ones for everything, but I can't seem to find it. I've tried a few of the RS indicators, and I can't duplicate that look. Thanks!
Umberto Eco, who owned 50,000 books, had this to say about home libraries:
“It is foolish to think that you have to read all the books you buy, as it is foolish to criticize those who buy more books than they will ever be able to read. It would be like saying that you should use all the cutlery or glasses or screwdrivers or drill bits you bought before buying new ones.
“There are things in life that we need to always have plenty of supplies, even if we will only use a small portion.
“If, for example, we consider books as medicine, we understand that it is good to have many at home rather than a few: when you want to feel better, then you go to the ‘medicine closet’ and choose a book. Not a random one, but the right book for that moment. That’s why you should always have a nutrition choice!
“Those who buy only one book, read only that one and then get rid of it. They simply apply the consumer mentality to books, that is, they consider them a consumer product, a good. Those who love books know that a book is anything but a commodity.”
Congratulations to our winners! Mark, Shen, and Punal each brought their A-game and won a seat into the $5,000,000 @WPTPrime Championship at @WynnPoker during the @LearnWPT Live Poker Lab freeroll satellite.

@BalarezoCapital@FranVezz@jmoneystonks@shrederickson Lists are the best. No ads, and you can see the things you want to see in chronological order. I'm not sure when the last time I actually looked at my "for you" page was!
@bclund One of the more sobering parts of getting a little older is realizing that most of the types of people you held on a pedestal when you were younger (doctors, lawyers, athletes, public officials, whomever) are just as flawed (sometimes more) than anyone else!
Reading is good. Reading can make you a better conversationalist and neighbors will never complain that your book is too loud.
Dinosaurs didn’t read. Look what happened to them.
@TJMurphy_5 I don't think I'm coming out until the main. I might even be direct buying in day 2 on the 8th, I haven't totally decided yet. If we have an overlap let's find a time to catch up for sure. I'll ping you once I finalize my plans.

@CyberDog2 Living my best life! Focused on learning and improving my process for next year. Thanks for all the content you put out; I've found it super helpful. Hope you're doing well!
True in both trading and poker. The same risk it takes to spin up a huge stack can obliterate it just as quickly if you're not managing your risk properly.
Only a few people will understand and heed this warning.
The same trading "method" that takes $50,000 to $500,000 in a couple months eventually takes $500,000 to zero - or less if you are using margin.
In the poker world, there was an amazing streak at the World Series of Day 1 chip leaders not even cashing in the tournament for years. The same risk it takes to run up a huge stack will decimate it with equal (and sometimes greater) velocity. I've seen traders do similar things, especially with options.
