Sure, people can start things without a traditional résumé. But when your whole pitch to investors and readers is “trust our judgment over the experts we're targeting when we have no background knowledge on any of the relevant fields,” the judgment better be backed by something more than confidence and a fast rise nobody can explain.

And right now, we aren’t seeing any of that. Do with that what you will…and I’d take anything you read @hntrbrkmedia with a HUGE grain of salt from here on out!

Now that we’ve seen @hntrbrkmedia shady business practices, it’s worth asking a more
basic question: exactly WHO is running it?!

So I looked into the founders’ professional backgrounds (🤣🤣🤣). It’s about as deep as a kiddie pool!

So let's recap: a firm that stakes its entire brand on “we hold institutions accountable
when the professionals won’t” is run by two guys with a combined zero years of
newsroom experience and zero years working inside a financial institution before they started one.

One dropped out of college to cure cancer with a single research paper, and it collapsed in two years. The other’s biggest pre-Hunterbrook credential is a speechwriting gig he was given by his daddy’s friend!
