Everyone loves the idea of a process/project until it comes to trusting it & they all think it’s the easiest thing in the world to do because of Arteta.

Chelsea, United & Liverpool have all shown in the last year that they don’t have the stomach or patience to do what Arsenal have done or Amorim, Rosenior & even Slot (after winning the league & building a new team) wouldn’t have been sacked in a wild panic after a string of bad results, those clubs are living proof that it’s not as easy to do it as it is saying it.

Arteta had a period where he couldn’t win a game (the only team he beat was United) & could have been sacked 3 times but the Kroenke’s stood firm & actually trusted the process (unlike these 3 clubs) admittedly Covid helped but they don’t have that defence mechanism now.

Let’s see how Carrick gets on when he has to now play 3 games a week & he’s being judged solely on his results and not by Amorim’s failures.

Trust the process only applies if you back it up, the evidence says they won’t, glad they are all talking their talk now, none of them can match our consistency (especially with Europe) which is what it takes to win a league because one off games don’t, come Jan/Feb when they are out of contention they won’t be able to cry about it being the worst league in the world.
