With me moving to DBB, one other change is in the wind — Second City Gridiron is staying with WCG, meaning I’m re-starting YouTube!
We’re still in the early goings, but a subscribe helps a *lot*. Gotta get to 1,000 for YT to acknowledge the channel lol.

I know it's theatre. I know it's entertainment.
However anyone who heads an NFL team saying "Fuck the Packers" is a classless piece of shit.
It was all fun and games and now you made it personal.
This is why we love the NFL
This is why the NFL is so beautiful
We can hear ‘storylines’ all regular season long
But they are MEANINGLESS, heroes are made in the Playoffs
Is Caleb Williams a stud, or not?
I mean… just watch this interception…
My opinion: Darnell Wright’s “rise” has less to do with improvement and more to do with assurance in the guys next to him.
That’s not to say he didn’t get better, but it’s clear he trusts his linemates and the scheme he’s coached in. A warrior. Torn elbow. Should get a Pro Bowl
@pross1959 Because he was a better processor than Tremaine. I like to think that much was obvious, Lach is a HOFer.
Tremaine has worn that critique since he was drafted and it’s clear on both his Buffalo and Chicago tape that he hesitates longer than others when reading plays out.
Tremaine Edmunds as a WLB is so much better/faster than he was as an MLB it calls into question ever having stuck him in the middle.
Using him as a blitzer/drop cover guy is one of the (few) ways the Bears have created pressure, and he’s been fun to watch. Really like that move
@bearsfa92825669 Just a catatonic eval I could never explain on stream. “One of these guys is unbelievably fast and at his worst when he has to think, the other is a professional thinker. Which should cover the back out of the backfield?
The slow one of course!”
This is basically my way of saying “he’s always been this good but we forget how communal OL play is sometimes”.
Wright has always been a dog. Happy to see him get some shine. Him playing one handed a few years ago is a forever highlight
@gridironborn I wrote a whole ass FA preview that I had to throw in the trash because Greg Gabriel and Matt Eberflus thought he was the next Brian Urlacher. Dumbest eval I could’ve imagined.
@juss1700@JoeRicketts23 You could argue the two are related! Funny the things we tell ourselves “arent all that important” when we don’t have them and won’t get them. Now that we have it, this rules!
@juss1700@JoeRicketts23 I have been waiting my whole football life for an offense that leads the league in explosive plays (+ has already won games for their D) and somehow the discussion surrounding the team has been “why isn’t the mid 2nd year QB better?” all damn year. Celebrate this stuff fam.
