I used to close million dollar contracts and the people I sold to never felt like they were being sold to.
That is the whole trick.
Stop trying to close.
Start trying to help.
Get invested in actually solving their problem, not in getting the deal done.
When you care more about their outcome than your commission, the sale takes care of itself.
I love Father’s Day - being a dad has been the greatest source of joy in my life.
I’m a sucker for all corny dad like things.
Wishing everyone a great Father’s Day - also a time to remember my amazing Dad - this is him in the army at 19 or 20.
Today we complain if our Starbuck’s isn’t hot enough - this man left his home country, gave up everything to come to Canada on a boat with my Mom and me.
Did not speak the language, knew no one, lived in someone’s basement for 18 months.
He sacrificed everything to give me an opportunity.
On this day - I always try and honor that sacrifice. I always thought if i wasn’t successful - it would be disrespectful to him but I learned all he really wanted was for me to be happy.
Isn’t that what every Dad wants for their kids?

Looking back, I've rarely regretted being bold.
I've regretted being afraid…
That's why the best opportunities usually feel uncomfortable.

Cloud security is one of those areas where the best work often happens before anyone notices a problem.
That is what stood out to me about Aryon Security.
In business, I have always believed the strongest companies are built around a simple but important shift in thinking. Aryon is focused on helping organizations prevent cloud risks before they turn into real incidents — and that approach matters more every day as companies continue to build, move, and operate in the cloud.
Congratulations to Ron Arbel, Ariel Litmanovich, Yair Ladizhensky, and the entire Aryon Security team on raising $38M.
It takes courage to build in a space this complex. It takes even more discipline to create something that helps customers stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them later.
Proud to support the team and excited for the road ahead.

After 16 seasons on Shark Tank, you'd think picking an outfit would be easy!
Turns out the entrepreneurs aren't the only ones getting judged on Shark Tank.
Which look would you bet on?
After building, scaling, and investing in hundreds of businesses, I've learned something different: the businesses that win aren't always the ones with the best products or the services… They're the ones with the best systems.
The market doesn't wait for you to catch up. The founders who pull ahead over the next decade will be the ones who learn how to build businesses that can scale beyond them.
That's why I'm excited to join the operators and entrepreneurs at Freedom 2026.
See you soon!

The difference between where you are and where you want to be is often how you use your days.
Your future is being built by today's calendar, not tomorrow's intentions.
The most rewarding moments of my life came from decisions that had no guarantees attached to them.
You never build a remarkable life by staying where it's predictable.
Everybody loves the finish line, but very few people learn to love the process.
Whatever you do on the boring days is what determines what happens on the big days.
Job security comes and goes.
Your ability to learn, adapt, and build is what lasts.
True confidence comes from knowing that if everything disappeared tomorrow, you could build it again.

Most people are chasing the reward, but the ones who last usually care about the work long before anyone notices it.
They show up when it is repetitive, when it is frustrating, and when there is no applause attached to it.
That kind of commitment is hard to fake.
When someone truly loves what they do and respects the process, their effort has a different weight to it.
Over time, that becomes the difference.

When the odds are against you, belief becomes a competitive advantage.
The hard truth is that the only thing standing between failure and success is just one more day of persistence.
The biggest opportunities usually come attached to the biggest expectations.
That’s why the work matters.
Pressure is the price of stepping into something bigger than who you were yesterday.
And if you carry it the right way, it can sharpen you into someone capable of creating a lasting impact.
