The wonderful Ezra Collective won best group at the Brits and gave a storming performance – plus a masterful speech praising youth clubs and schools – notably Enfield Grammar, my own old school. 40 years after Diamond Life won best album.clearly a breeding ground for good music.
Adventure should be real not imagined. my children hold this part of me very dear. their birthday gift to me this year was to let me get thrown around a racetrack in a 200kph supercar. Yes!

truly awful day recording Xmas University challenge. BBC still in Dark Ages re supporting disabled people.depressing and more demeaning than any experience for many, many years.only upside was meeting 3 terrific people – Jenny Clemens,Elizabeth Day and Emily Grossman.
Doubt this has made the front page but huge change in disability benefits coming as the Work Capability Assessment is due to be scrapped in the ‘back to work’ budget
