(3/3) I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Trustees of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation for this incredible honor and their commitment to recognizing outstanding undergraduate research students.
Thank you all for your support!
I'm thrilled and deeply honored to announce that I am a Barry Goldwater Scholar! This prestigious award aims to support the next generation of highly qualified research leaders in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering. (1/3)
(2/3) Receiving this accolade is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the unwavering guidance and support of everyone who has been part of my journey.
@IannoneLab @wmhammond Basil, I didn't know this about you! I'm 28 right now (just transferred from Valencia to UCF), so this thread is very reassuring. Grateful to see some fellow "non-traditional" students represented in higher education.
I’m hiring a postdoc to focus on bumblebee habitat suitability and space use in CT. Let’s do some genetics, radio telemetry, and spatial modeling together!

Hello birding friends! Please consider helping our research by taking this survey (and sharing with any local birding clubs/listervs). Thanks in advance!
OUTSIDE Collab is next week, and I look forward to helping guide attendees through our sustainable landscape research plots - also known as the "living laboratory" - at Sunbridge! I hope to see you there. https://t.co/R5KWuecOHL
Remember to share this opportunity with students who might be interested in the PAID opportunity with additional benefits such as conference travel/registration costs and a wonderful support network
@umichgradschool Summer Research Opportunity Program is a wrap! Honored to have contributed to @gbaucom's research on herbicide drift, agricultural weeds, & arthropods. Working at Matthaei was a joy, too! Missing MI already, but excited for what lies ahead in my research journey.
@UMich Summer Research Opportunity Program Update: I am excited to share I will be joining The Baucom Lab this summer to study relationships between herbicides and plant-insect interactions!
Have you ever attended an insect festival? What a cool idea for folks of all ages (and all insect comfort levels) to learn about entomology in a more controlled, relaxed, and fun environment. https://t.co/iXykpiQPAT
The largest and most beautiful prickly-pear cactus (Opuntia humifusa) I've ever seen in situ! Their bright yellow flowers are producing loads of pollen: an important food source for bees like this leafcutter bee and brown-winged striped sweat bee. 🤩🌵🐝
We are giving away 1,000 Bald Cypress Trees for Earth Day as part of our 1,000 Trees for 1,000 Years initiative. We need a home for these trees. Please reach out if you have a community event that could give these trees out...
