Happy release day to Sgt Wilko’s Defending Champions, completing my history of #LUFC from Revie to Bielsa.
To relive every game of the previously forgotten/repressed 92/93 season, drop me a DM or order through all the big hitters. Cheers! 🥂
My SSN appearance, on which I failed to mention the name of my upcoming book, El Loco Celeste, or that you can pre-order now (link below)! I can’t promise a happy ending but i guarantee it’s more entertaining than the first 90 mins last night! #bielsa

Hi Rocco
Finished the book last night.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
When Leeds got thrashed 3-0 by Villa at Wembley I knew the game was well and truly up for Howard & I thought he would be gone by the end of the season.
I was surprised that the board had kept him on and that he
@Damo259 I feel like he had to go by the end but no doubt you are right. We needed an experienced head. GG would have been perfect (if he wasn’t such a Judas!)
@Damo259 Yeh Litmanen was amazing. Perfect Cantona replacement. He was bielsas radar around then, he used to show his players videos of him before he was known outside of Finland, so the story goes!
@Damo259 It never made it into the book in the end due to affecting the flow, but around Xmas 92 we were reportedly signing Swedish defenders Bjorklund and Andersson. They would have been top signings. They ended up playing against eachother in the UCL final a decade later!
@Damo259 It will always baffle me looking at the signings up to Cantona vs the signings after. Talk about a fall from grace! Not even sure you can blame wilko as he was always just making do here and there.
@Damo259 Wonder if Blackburns were outspending their revenue more than City have. Obviously wasn’t against the rules back then but interesting nonetheless
