@botpixx I hate the fact it took so long for Hasbro to realize so many people missed Breakdown, only for many to sell off the rest of the Stunticons before the reissue came to be. So yes, reissue the box set.
@botpixx They ARE the same character from conception. Ron Friedman himself said there was meaning behind that. But like Beast Wars Megatron takes the name from the original, BW II Galvatron does the same.
@MuLaFlaga01 Specifically, Mach Alert, Ox, Counter Arrow, and Gigatron. I also wonder if Mega Octane and Scourge had their names swapped because the former is not a tanker truck.
I love these four series quite a bit for varying reasons. Beast Wars already being brilliant made me love G1 more. RiD/ Car Robots brought back cars and trucks. Animated was pretty good, but a love letter to what came before. Prime and Cyberverse are good too.
@MuLaFlaga01 I'm of the opinion that most of the legacy names used on the US release of RiD and the Unicron Trilogy aren't as good of uses as their Japanese names. Ox and Counter Arrow being called Ironhide and Mirage was an interesting choice.
@botpixx Scourge is such a great figure and a great character. A recent joy was seeing my son grab him from a bin I stored him in and he managed to transform it with a little help from dad. I agree on Side Burn. Great vehicle mode. Interesting robot. Rough transformation.
@botpixx First RiD figure I bought was Mach Alert (US Prowl) and then went to get the whole line. Non show characters and all. I had even imported Brave Max. And who doesn't love Sky Byte?
Amazing Alana custom by Tonezonemp4 ( @ tonezone.mp4 on insta), the printed parts are from my Alana kit ( https://t.co/jGGTeSKavQ ) but they also added sculpt details to the base figure, more pics on tfw! https://t.co/J6dQUaMGct
I don't disagree that box office wise it's not a success. However, Amazon specifically didn't want it to be in theaters as they make the most money from streaming. Travis Knight wanted it to be released theatrically. It is possible it makes its money back. Streaming and toy sales play a factor here. It's possible it doesn't. We just have to wait and see.
