We just locked picture in the editing room on THE WALK IN! While the sound mixers and VFX artists now get to work, I dive straight into the shoot of my next movie. That next movie is CAGED, and we’re now in full pre-production. It’s a true hybrid Ai movie: real actors & locations

In Malta for a few days working with a writer and local production team on developing a new movie about conspiracy theories. Weird but cool. Tomorrow back to Bulgaria and continue prep on a cool action movie we will shoot in a few weeks. Busy busy.

We lost a legend yesterday. I worked with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa 11 years ago in Thailand on the movie ‘Man with the iron fists 2’ that I directed and with RZA in the lead. It was such an honor to work with Cary. He will be missed.

I was at a screening of the new AVATAR movie last night with Director James Cameron talking about the movie with Guillermo del Toro. What a great experience hearing these iconic directors talking about their work. So inspiring. And the new Avatar movie is fantastic, on all levels

I’m at AFM (American Film Market) in Los Angeles this week selling a few of my movies. Including a new one called CAGED. Very exciting to see a lot of friends again.

I was yesterday at a screening of the new movie FRANKENSTEIN. What a great movie, classic in the way the story was told and how it was shot. Made by the genius Guillermo del Toro who did a q&a after. So inspiring to hear him talk about the craft of directing.
