Vader (to me) is one of those characters that feels less impactful the more he’s used. The more we see of his backstory, the more mystique we lose; and the more we see his evil acts in gratuitous detail, the weaker ROTJ feels
I’ve always been a little iffy on ROTJ, and the more evil they make Vader seem with every new piece of material, the less believable it is that he is redeemed bc of Luke. I just flat out do not buy that the Vader in this clip is coming back by any means
George Lucas could build a time machine back to 1992, film the entire Thrawn trilogy with the original actors, and YouTube outrage peddlers would still hate it.
I agree with a lot of your takes, but this one is garbage. Andor is peak Rebellion (what a majority of “classic” Star Wars fans prefer) and is the most well-made and compelling show in the entire franchise
Ian McDiarmid confirms that a PALPATINE series was in development at some point, which would’ve explored the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise.

ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy is a fan of THE MANDALORIAN and SKELETON CREW
“Look at Mandalorian, look how far away we are from Mandalorian. And yet they work. Mandalorian made our show possible. Skeleton Crew — holy shit, man. That’s like a whole different flavor. It feels right. Smells right.”

ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy thinks a Star Wars courtroom drama would be “fascinating”
“Could you do a courtroom drama in Star Wars? Why couldn’t you? It’d be fascinating. You’d have to invent the legal system, but you could. Why not? That would be interesting.”
@exaltnow18@jpw_mp4 Ahsoka feels like season 5 of Rebels. Which is fine, but not worthy of the budget, actors, and pedigree that went into it.
(Still a lot of fun)
