सही कहा सर! लेकिन यह जिम्मेदारी मीडिया और के बड़े नामों की भी है! स्टूडियो से पहले "मोब लिंचिंग" शुरू की गयी! रिया चक्रवर्ती,तब्लीगी जमात,हिन्दू मुस्लिम डिबेट! किसान आंदोलन के खिलाफ कैसे माहौल बनाया गया! अगर आप jnu में पढ़ते हैं तो नक्सली होंगे,ऐसा माहौल बनाया गया! सालों से स्टूडियो से इस तरह का माहौल बनाया गया/बनाया जा रहा है! ये सरकार से मांग करने वाली हर जनता को अपने व्यक्तिगत विरोधी की तरह पेश करने लगे! उनके खिलाफ भीड़ छोड़ने लगे! इन्हे भी इसकी अनुमति नहीं मिलिनि चाहिए! न इस भीड़ को किसी रिपोर्टर के साथ गलत करने की अनुमति मिलनी चाहिए! दोनों बातें साथ कहनी होगी सर तभी यह दीवार टूटेगी!

Opposition leaders who have been raising the issue have already visited Jantar Mantar and implored Wangchuk to break his fast and that they will continue to raise the issue. So why is this even a condition now? Accountability should be sought from the govt alone. Not opposition.

The visuals emerging from this protest are unlike anything seen under this government. When every voice of dissent is suppressed, critics are criminalised and Noida channels spend years vilifying anyone who questions the government, public anger doesn’t disappear. It accumulates. Eventually it spills onto the streets. The answer is not more intimidation or propaganda. The government must engage with those protesting. Arrogance is not strength- listening is.

Police is continuing warning to use force as protesters are already on the Sansad Marg. Last night ten-foot barricades were installed outside Jantar Mantar, creating a wall, probably to stop the march. Protesters are now on both sides of the barricades. @thewire_in

This boomer BJP supporter said this to a young man outside the Jantar Mantar protest simply because he was participating in it.

How do you destroy a massive, uncontrollable protest without using the police?

You don't fight them. You send them a savior. Imagine a protest is gaining serious fire. Suddenly, a charismatic outsider parachutes in. He grabs the mic, brings the media attention and becomes the undisputed Face of the revolution.

The original organizers happily let him steer the ship because he brings the crowds and the cameras.

But right at the absolute climax of the movement he pulls the emergency brake.
He drops all the core demands, accepts a meaningless promise from politicians and peacefully sips a glass of juice for the cameras.

The original organizers are instantly paralyzed by a brilliant tactical trap that
If they quit now, they look like cowards and face massive public embarrassment.
If they keep fighting, they have to publicly attack the very saint person the public loves and they have no backup leader with enough weight to replace him. Checkmate.

The mastermind theory
He was planted by the establishment from day one. His only job was to hijack the steering wheel, absorb all the momentum, and safely crash the car into a wall.

It is the ultimate political Trojan Horse. If you don't control the face of your movement, you don't control the movement.

Opposition leaders have been raising the issue and would be raising it in Parliament even without Wangchuk’s conditions. What happened to all the accountability that was being sought from the govt? It’s been deflected on the opposition again?

What a disappointment, @Wangchuk66. The burden now shifts from the government to the opposition. He is asking opposition leaders to come to him and assure him that they will make education an issue during this session of Parliament.

किसान आंदोलन में ही इनकी हालत देखकर मैंने ये भविष्यवाणी की थी अगले 1-2 साल में टीवी रिपोर्टर दौड़ाए जाएँगे।
सभी चैनलों के मालिकों को शर्म से डूब जाना चाहिए। रोज़ स्टूडियोज से ज़हर परोसने वाले क्रिमिनल हैं इनके एंकर और भीड़ में रिपोर्टर को भेज देते हैं गाली खाने के लिए।
इनके तथाकथित ‘स्टार’ एंकर रामायण के ट्रेलर लॉन्च में गए हैं और रिपोर्टर यहाँ धक्के खा रहे हैं

My sympathies with Noida channels reporters on the ground who are being targeted. No one deserves abuse or intimidation. But the rage against these channels did not appear out of nowhere. For years their star anchors have normalised the vilification of anyone who questioned the government. Farmers were branded Khalistanis, anti CAA protesters were called Rohingyas, students were labelled urban Naxals, the opposition was portrayed as anti national and critics were painted as anti Hindu. They helped create an atmosphere where dissent became something to be hated rather than heard. That poison did not remain confined to television studios. It spilled into the lives of ordinary citizens.
If today these channels face an unprecedented collapse of public trust and deep public anger their anchors and owners must ask themselves how they helped create this moment. Remember, the consequences of years of manufacturing hatred eventually return to those who profited from it.
