"Lead with love and gratitude. Basketball has given so much to so many of us, and the best way to pay it forward is to love and be grateful for our families, players, other coaches, and all of the people who make what we do possible. When we live and coach this way, the journey is that much more abundant!"
"I joined LABC to surround myself with excellent coaches and mentors who have had similar life and coaching experiences as I have. I believe that iron sharpens iron, and the LABC provides an amazing platform for coaches to grow."

@jake_schutt21 | 6’4” Wing
Versatile scorer with size on the perimeter. One of the best rebounders I have ever been around and guards 1-4. Plays with an incredible motor, and impacts winning!

JJ Sanchez (2025, Montgomery - CA) is a flat out shot maker. Everything he does is at the same pace and gets to his scoring spots.
Sanchez loves catching the ball and sizing the defender up. His jab step is his rhythm and his natural shot has him leaning back so he’s able to get it off.
His feel is his best attribute. He can make every pass with both hands, and puts it on the number. He can play inside out and understands how to use his body inside.
JJ finished as the MVP of the Nike Division this weekend.

Myles Fuentes (2027, Riviera Prep - FL) is a dynamic lead guard who impacts the game in more ways than one for this Riviera Prep team.
Myles and his brother Mason tag team ball handling duties which allows Myles to create from the wing, and he does a fantastic job of recognizing where he can attack. When he does attack, watch your head because he can punch it.
His teammates love playing with him because his head is always up and he is beyond a willing passer. Efficient from the field and has a smooth jumper to round out his game.

Mick Riordan (2027, Boulder Creek) is someone who is going to explode onto the scene and be one of the best players in the state the next 2 years.
Riordan has a very good control of this Boulder Creek offense as the lead guard. For him to operate it the way he does as a sophomore, speaks volumes to the trust Coach Collard has in him.
He does a great job of changing his pace to get his defender off balance, uses his frame in the lane to finish and create for others. Excited to see the development of Mick in the future.

Zach Khatib (2026, Redondo Union) is an absolute SNIPER!
His length and shooting ability make him a player that can come in and impact winning at the college level.
Khatib also has no problem getting into a ball handler and competes on the defensive side of the basketball.

Tyrin Jones (2025, Layton Christian) is making himself real comfortable in his future home of Las Vegas.
The 6’8 senior has been stellar in first two showings at the Tarkanian Classic and the best thing is the whole UNLV staff has been here to watch both games.
Jones gets it done a number of ways, but he really wants to get downhill and finish at the rim. He’s so long that once he’s by a defender, they can’t recover. High level athlete and from the love the UNLV staff has shown him, high level person as well!
