Took patient s/p AVR (87') to OR in shock for ruptured ATAAD. Underwent redo arch/tissue bentall due to severe tissue destruction.

Saved patient (🥳) and explanted a piece of history, the @Medtronic Hall valve!! Completely gorgeous device. Honored!
