We felt privileged to catch the private view of Kyotographie: Kawada Kikuji x Iwane Ai at @japanhouseldn last night. An immersive, beautifully curated show capturing Kyoto’s iconic photography festival through two distinct voices.
Kawada Kikuji (93 & still prolific) presents works incl. Chizu (The Map) – a powerful, abstract reflection on post-war Japan. Iwane Ai showcases her award-winning Kipuka series alongside the stunning A New River, capturing Tōhoku’s night-blooming cherry blossoms.
The Old Monastery on Conduit Hill–an incredible photo/film/event location. Owner Alex Macarthur gave us a warm, impromptu tour, sharing stories of the beautifully restored 14th-century site. Many curated pieces are for sale too. Thank you, Alex!

As the subject of gun culture remains omnipresent in the news and lives of so many Americans, we reflect on our close collaboration with extraordinary documentary photographer, filmmaker and friend, Zed Nelson. 25 years ago, we worked together on his seminal project Gun Nation
We worked on the major marketing campaign, exhibition design and catalogue design to create a cohesive and consistent experience for audiences to their blockbuster show - the first London exhibition of Rousseau’s work in over 80 years.
This month marks 20 years since our ground-breaking campaign for Henri Rousseau at Tate Modern launched. It was the first time Tate had allowed typography to interact with an artwork.
As this year's Frieze London and Frieze Masters opens to the public today in Regent's Park, we wanted to share our collaboration with Deutsche Bank, as the global lead partner for the Frieze Art Fair.
They invited us (over 3 consecutive years) to create a distinctive event brand for their Frieze partnership and corporate lounge, along with a suite of campaign materials used prior to, throughout and following the event. Art lovers can visit Frieze London from today until Sunday
