“‘Affordable fuel is one of the most important pillars to defeat poverty, enrich our middle class and make our country self-reliant,’ he said.”
With potential U.S. export restrictions threatening our fuel supply, Canadians need action, not excuses. Through our Emergency Fuel Relief Plan, Conservatives are calling for immediate tax relief; eliminating the diesel price gap with the US through higher production; faster approvals for Canadian energy projects; and a strategic fuel reserve to protect our farmers, businesses and families.
Canada should never have to depend on another country to keep its economy running. Conservatives will fight to produce more Canadian energy; save Canadians money; and restore the promise of an affordable, safe and independent country. #cdnpoli
The Liberals are out of touch.
Canadians are out of money.
This fall session is the time for results, not talk, to save you money, save your job, keep you safe, fix immigration, and put our country first.
Mark Carney has had the worst first-year growth of any Prime Minister on record.
Canada is deindustrializing and falling behind the rest of the world because of 11 years of Liberal anti-development laws that Carney keeps in place.
We need a Conservative Economic Action Plan that green-lights projects, encourages wealth creation, and brings jobs and industry roaring back: https://t.co/FKCwB2PnNC
Conservatives are disappointed that the United States has chosen to impose further unjustified tariffs on Canada. They threaten the jobs and livelihoods of families right across our country.
Canadians must stand united to defend our country against these unfair attacks on our jobs and businesses. Canada cannot accept one-sided tariffs that will deindustrialize our country. Nor can we accept a bad deal. Instead, we must continue the fight for tariff-free trade. Later today, I will seek a call with the Prime Minister to discuss what we can do to fight for our workers, businesses, and economy. Conservatives will always put our country first.
Conservatives support action to protect Canadians and our industries targeted by these unfair U.S. tariffs.
We also need urgent economic reforms to restore growth, protect jobs and save our industry. That must include ending the industrial carbon tax, repealing anti-development laws, green lighting the 500 economic projects awaiting federal approval and major tax reforms to return investment to our country, reward work, and recharge our economy.
All Canadians must stand united for our workers, our businesses and our country.
Last week Mark Carney’s Chief Government Whip, Mark Gerretsen, posted a video accusing Pierre Poilievre of lying about Carney’s deal giving the U.S. a cut of the Gordie Howe International Bridge toll revenue, BEFORE Canadians are paid back.
His video is still up.
The facts are now absolutely clear: Poilievre was right. Gerretsen was flat-out wrong.
When will he delete the video and apologize for spreading misinformation?

WATCH - Patty Hajdu Doubles Down on False Claims to Justify Ending Airline Strike
She claims her comments were based on briefings by officials, but none of the senior officials at the table could confirm that.
Just shameless repeated lies from a Liberal Minister.
Liberals Shut Down Debate on $6.6 Billion IT Project
Conservative MP Garnett Genuis said he was disappointed the Liberals used their new majority to end that debate and move on to another topic entirely.
"Canadians will be worse off because they won't have access to this information about this software,"
While the Liberal government spent last year creating a 4th federal housing agency with a focus on non-market and supportive housing, they forgot to give a clear definition for the term “affordable”.
By protecting our religious communities, Canada sends a clear message that vandalizing places of worship is unacceptable in our society. My Bill, C-255, currently before this House, offers a necessary and common-sense path forward.
The Liberals just delayed help for grieving families.
After all parties agreed to begin clause-by-clause review of Bill C-222 on April 13, that meeting was cancelled — pushing back support for parents who have lost a child.
We’ve heard the heartbreaking testimony. We know this bill is needed. And yet, it’s being stalled.
We need your help. Contact Liberal members of the Human Resources Committee and tell them to stop the delays and pass Bill C-222 — and be sure to CC Blake when you write.

Families deserve better. Let’s make sure this bill moves forward.
The federal government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers among producers. Here’s my letter to the Hon @MarjoriePLC, Minister of Health and the Hon Heath MacDonald @CornwallHeath, Minister of Agriculture on the recent decision regarding strychnine use.
The Prime Minister has a special responsibility for the conduct of international affairs.
Yesterday, a Liberal MP intimated that there has been no Uyghur forced labour in the PRC.
This week, the PMO gave an account that conflicted with the initial PCO response of March 13 to an order paper question about whether the Prime Minister did proactively raise the issue of human rights with his PRC counterparts during his most recent visit. Read in certain way, the second PCO response of March 23 does not necessarily conflict with its initial response of March 13.
The PM needs to urgently clarify his position on these issues.
Read my letter to the PM.

According to Prime Minister Mark Carney, “affordability is the best it’s been in over a decade.”
Out of touch doesn’t even begin to explain it.
Meanwhile, more and more Canadians aren’t just living paycheque to paycheque - they are going into debt just to get by.
When I asked about the representation of rural Canadians affected by the Old Age Security backlog, the Deputy Minister could not provide a clear answer.
Instead, they pointed to in-person Service Canada offices, but in rural communities, it means travelling over an hour just to reach the nearest location - a completely unrealistic expectation for many people.
The Liberals’ C-9 exposes people of faith to potential criminal prosecution for the simple act of quoting sacred texts. As Conservatives continue to fight this reckless bill, I was proud to amplify the voices of my constituents who oppose this attack on our fundamental freedoms.
