Trying to get an alert system for Kids with needs and who wandered.... I get they don't want to put an amber alert out but we need something!

@SteveRyanCP24 I agree completely! This is why the petition below was started. We need a system for Kids with autism or needs or those who were not abducted and just wandered off.

Melania Trump says Jimmy Kimmelโs hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our county.
I stand with Jimmy against Melania Trump!
Who is with me? ๐
@UberEats why did your delivery person walk into the backyard with my order, hang out for 45sec to a minute and then come back into frame in the front yard.... #wtaf
Love when "the team" comes to the school to tell me all the things I'm doing wrong with the kids they don't know...and then the runner takes off on them... but yes, I'm the problem ๐
If a child can't hear the word "no", we are creating a society of temper tantrums. "No" is a part of life. When a teacher/ EA/CYC says no to a kid they should absolutely not be attacked. The child should learn to hear no. Enough is enough.
We can be compassionate and firm at the same time.
We can support and still set limits.
Because learning to hear โnoโ is learning how to succeed in the real world.
โNoโ is not the problem โ itโs part of real life.
I understand that some children (including those with ASD) may find โnoโ triggering. But avoiding the word entirely doesnโt prepare them for the world they live in. Life is full of limits, boundaries, and moments where the answer
will be no โ from teachers, peers, workplaces, and society.
Today, I was pinched and scratched for setting a boundary. That doesnโt mean the boundary was wrong. Our role isnโt to remove every trigger โ itโs to help children safely learn how to handle them.
