NEWS: Billy Donovan has agreed to become the lead assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs and head coach Mitch Johnson, sources tell me and @ShamsCharania.
Henri Veesaar has signed a four-year, $9.3 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, per sources.
Veesaar was the 52nd pick in the draft. The structure of the deal is the same as the 31st, 32nd and 35th picks in last year’s draft.

Free agent guard Coby White intends to sign a three-year, $74 million deal to return to the Charlotte Hornets, sources tell ESPN. White was a major priority for the Hornets and now steps into a new starting role in the backcourt.
Via a UNC source: Henri Veesaar would have had at least a $5 million NIL deal had he returned. He left to chase being a first-rounder.
We're into the mid-40s and he's still waiting.
Easily the biggest mistake of the 2026 draft—and certainly one of the biggest in recent memory.
Isaiah Evans has always carried himself with confidence, and his draft night look reflected that. A $3 million brooch and a $1 million wallet chain made sure nobody was forgetting him tonight.🔥

Hope it works out for them, but tonight is a tough look for the stay-or-go decisions from UNC’s Henri Veesaar, Duke’s Isaiah Evans and Arkansas’ Meleek Thomas.
Left serious money on the table in college. Fair to say they all may have miscalculated their market.
