Luka Modric turns 40 today. 🇭🇷
Since departing Spurs for La Liga in 2012, the Croatian midfielder has gone on to become the most decorated midfielder in Real Madrid history, winning six Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles. 🏆
In 2018, Modric became the first person other than Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Ballon D’or in a decade after a stellar year domestically and internationally.
Not slowing down at all, this summer Modric joined AC Milan in Italy as one of the most iconic players of modern football history. 🐐
We simply have to applaud one of the greatest midfielders ever in one of the greatest periods ever. It's been a pleasure to witness.
Here’s to many more years at the top. 🍷
