The Rotary Club of Tarring Park is a friendly, informal community service organisation. We support local community events & projects in & around Tarring Park.
We'll be collecting your unwanted coats and warm clothing for #WrapUpWorthing2024 to help vulnerable people in our community keep warm this Winter. You can donate on 6th, 7th & 8th November from 8 to 10.30 am in the foyer at Worthing Central Railway Station. #handsonheroes
Just a reminder, our annual Easter Egg Hunt is in the lovely gardens at Tarring Manor, NOT the park, on Sunday 24th March, as the ground is too wet. Starts 1130, Easter Bonnet judging at 1215, finish 1245. Tarring Manor is here https://t.co/zM2u1q6sf1 π

Scrubbing this nonsense off at Tarring Park 10am on Sat 9th March, join in 4 hours of scouring, cleaning up litter, raking leaves, & clearing rubble. Bring gloves, appropriate shoes & buckets, we finish at 2pm.π

Verdigris is an issue at the park, this green mould makes everything look a bit old and tired. But it's really easy to clean off with a kitchen scourer & some water, that's the plan for our Spruce Up Day.!
Sat March 9th 10am to 2pm ππ

Great litter pick with the FOTP @TarringPark & the park is looking suitably stunning again, with a lot less rubbish. Looking forward to our joint litter pick with a bunch of Rotary clubs & other groups at the end of May, on Shoreham beach and in the South Downs National Park.
#WrapUpWorthing has collected an incredible 424 coats! A lot of vulnerable people will have a much more comfortable Winter than they would have done without all of you who donated. Thank you on behalf of all of those who will benefit from your kindness. We love you #Worthing! π₯°
