Today is local history day. One amazing woman helped to look after Rotherham's. Here is 19 year old Dorothy Greene in 1917 working on Roman finds from the fort at Templeborough. She became Honorary Keeper of Roman Antiquities at the museum in 1946 and was still doing it aged 70.

What a treat to talk to the wonderful children and staff at Rockingham J and I. They listened brilliantly and showed what keen historical brains they had.

What a way to end the Year. Amazing new art at Boston Castle Rotherham. Thanks Canklow Woods and Broom Valley. Great artists Bridie. The mayor helped celebrate. Come and see for yourself.
