As an old Star Fox veteran, long time fan - and someone who has had world records in the Star Fox games….
This Star Fox remake is awesome. It plays like a dream.
Very good job, Shigeru Miyamoto.
And thanks @ima_1966
Legendary game.
@natty_crusader@ima_1966 It’s the easy path, and he said that in the original. I remember as a kid not understanding the command until a couple of playthroughs in. Just tutorial. And that’s Peppys role in the squadron. Tips and hints
@Roxana_max@ima_1966 Never mind the fact he allowed the dev company to remake the game he originally created. And he probably finalized how it was handled.
@Dye_and_Retri@ima_1966 I like it a lot, it’s more serious than 64. I don’t think one is better than the other.
With all that said, I love Slippy. He finally seems like a cool guy.
@ZPatterStein_SW@ima_1966 I think it’s timeless, it’s a great game in any generation. I think a new generation will like this a lot. The story elements will go a long way in modernizing.
But the smoothness and graphics and presentation is scary good.
@YaroLink@ima_1966@velanstudios Well technically it was made by both. The original game is Nintendo, the remake was developed by Velan, apparently. Plenty of thanks to go around.
@gamutfeathers@ima_1966@velanstudios That’s a very weird thing to say - since it would never happen without Shigeru Miyamoto.
However, I’ll forgive you for rudeness, and thank you for tagging them.
Thanks, Chief!
@Diego_Kawasaka@ima_1966 The over the top rumble pack was something you could only experience if you lived through it back then, or I guess buy retro stuff. But the rumble was too much rumble lol
