Babington's - the 18th on the Dunluce, where two of our three Champion Golfers have been crowned.
This hole was the 16th when Max Faulkner lifted the claret Jug in 1951, hitting that iconic shot from up against the barbed wire fence.
Our new Valley holes occupy some of the finest duneland on the property, replacing what was once a modest pitch and putt.
We think the land is better utilised now.
While @Graeme_McDowell grew up on our Valley links, the hole that now bears his name is not one he ever played.
The 16th, 'McDowell's', is one of the new holes designed by Mackenzie & Ebert, climbing the dunes and revealing a stunning view over the East Strand at the green.
Often overlooked, the 12th on the Dunluce brings you inland before turning back toward the sea, offering the last genuine birdie opportunity before the course's demanding finish.
The Valley has been ranked 81st best course in GB&I by @top100golf
It's a testament to @golfarchitects renovation work over the past five years and confirms what we've long known: a trip to Portrush isn't complete without a round on this superb links.
There are many vistas across our 36 holes that could be your favourite, but there's something about the 13th and 17th greens of the Dunluce meeting back-to-back that is hard to beat.
In a world of portrait images for social media, some things still look better in landscape.
Calamity Corner at sunrise is definitely one of those things.
Joe Carr's scorecard from his course record on the Dunluce: a 68 (-6) in the 1952 Irish Amateur Open Championship.
Carr reached 5 of the previous 6 finals in this event, but despite this qualifying round course record, would be knocked out in matchplay soon after.
Our goal has always been to prepare the Valley to match the Dunluce, and we can now truly say that both courses receive the same meticulous treatment, ensuring the playing experience across both is virtually identical.
