@TheKodakChris The funniest thing about this: the production team probably wasn’t even trying to make such an iconic drum sound. As a matter of fact, I think I remember reading an interview with David Bendeth, in which he said he was apprehensive about turning the drums up so loud.

@TheKodakChris I encountered this (and still encounter it) in audio production all the time—dudes who are “too cool”. I suppose those guys don’t owe anybody anything, but it means a lot to young artists when the people they admire are cool, approachable, and encouraging.
