American Promise is en route to Bar Harbor. We collected more than 8000lbs of marine debris from remote islands in the Gulf of Maine this week. Not bad for the first expedition of the season!

Powerful: Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, wore a dress made of rope to raise awareness of environmental issues.

Exciting news from #Vermont! Bill S.213, known as the "Flood Safety Act" was passed, which includes the ban on unencapsulated foam docks.

Our data contributed to demonstrating the pervasiveness of the problem and the increase in foam found in the environment after flooding.
