Yesterday a study from @UniofOxford found further evidence that people with more calcium in their diet can help lower their risk of bowel cancer.
Last night, Ruby from our research team was interviewed about this study on @BBCWorld. It’s fantastic to see this study get such great coverage.

We're wearing #Red4Research today as we celebrate the #BowelCancer research community and everyone who takes part in research.
Every development in bowel cancer diagnosis and treatment starts as a research idea. We want to say a huge thank you to the amazing researchers whose hard work develops those ideas into something that can make a difference to people affected by bowel cancer.
I keep thinking how 3 little girls were killed & more were hurt & traumatised, & instead of talking about their precious lives, we are being forced to focus on violent entitled white men burning cars & towns, who don’t give a shit about women’s & girls’ safety.
Thing about 1500 meters is that it offers a really, really long time to be alone with your thoughts in the pool knowing there is absolutely nothing you could possibly do to catch Katie Ledecky
this obsession with testosterone levels in female athletes is insane - nobody questions the fact that michael phelps has an obscenely long wingspan or double the lung capacity of a normal person because in men's sport it's accepted that people have different physical advantages
The Gary Logue awards are back for its tenth year!
