This year @Rust_NL brought 900+ developers to Utrecht.
We brought a camera and five questions for @vlad20012@LoriLorusso and @ddprrt
The members of the Rust community shared their honest takes on where the language is headed, and two quiz champions walked away with @FrancescoCiull4 book.
The full recap, all interviews, and what we learned is here ๐https://t.co/9xL1DTUUnZ
What are you doing this evening?
The RustRover team always runs tests against the nightly #rustlang compiler to stay prepared for upcoming releases.
Tonight's results look suspicious.
Investigating... ๐
Last Friday's Rust meetup in Berlin felt different ๐ฆAround 50 Rust developers joined us for an evening of talks, discussions, and community connections.
@wolfvollprecht, founder and CEO of @prefix_dev, shared lessons learned building open-source software supply chain infrastructure for the Conda ecosystem, including Pixi and rattler. @FlorianGilcher, co-founder of @FerrousSystems and former Rust Core Team member, spoke about Ferrocene and safety-critical Rust.
The best part was seeing the community shape the evening as it unfolded, with spontaneous lightning talks and thoughtful questions.
Thanks to everyone who came, shared ideas, and made the evening what it was ๐
I have joined @JetBrains as a Rust Developer Advocate! ๐ฆ๐ฅณ

Last week, Lukas Wirth and Vlad Beskrovny joined us to discuss how modern Rust IDEs understand code.
If you missed the livestream, we've put together a recap covering the key ideas and takeaways ๐

"In 5 years, Rust will be _"
We asked @ddprrt to finish the sentence. Turns out, what's designed for humans works surprisingly well for AI too.
Full interview coming today in our blog post ๐
To those Rustaceans who are unhappy about what Andrew Kelley said about Rust: watch this deeply technical talk by Lukas from @rust_analyzer and Vlad from @rustrover. These guys love #rustlang! Watch until the end to hear them confess it!
Seems like X decided to play with us ๐ The answer is C#
Rustโs attributes were influenced by C#-style attributes, adapted to Rustโs own syntax and tooling model
โZig over Rust?โ ๐
@VBragilevsky asked Andrew Kelley a simple question, and the answer turned into a very interesting take on language tradeoffs, tooling, and choosing the right tool for the job.
