So, @rustybrick reported that Google's expanding their use of 'goto' URLs.
Can someone explain to me why Google's indexing their own 'goto' URLs and why they're redirecting but actually they're delivering a "200 OK" rather than a 301 or 302 redirect?
Something's going on here.
Not to mention the fact that Google appears to be indexing their own search results URLs.
The IRS website dropped heavily in Google Search, I suspect b/c the fed gov't was too aggressive in blocking crawlers, including Google @lilyraynyc and @glenngabe have been following it closely and I suspect it will come back soon https://t.co/krqpL5XEPr

I am starting to see PDFs from the IRS start to rank again at the top - maybe Google is rolling out a fix? Updating the old story at https://t.co/BX65MbXhth
