Arrived in Reggio Calabria down the spine of the Apennines. What a glory journey of constant surprise through Calabria’s mountains and national parks with black pine pollen smoking the air, cherries and warm figs, barely any traffic and that’s Sicily across the water.

@BenMyers1 That lovely 50m pool we had in Halifax when I grew up there - shortened to a 25m and now closed. If there’s one thing we could do for the public good, it’s to have more pools and lidos (well, don’t get me started on the rest of the things we could do…).
