this has 1 and a half years worth of changes so i probably missed some details. tested on palera1n rootless on iPhone X (iOS 16) and iPad 7th gen (iOS 18)
- iOS 17 and iOS 18 support
- brought back `killall mediaserverd` button
- autoeq presets are cached locally and automatically updated (no more waiting for download)
- dedicated preset menu
- much faster number input
- check for update / download update within app
- experimental "chat" tab which shows the discord chat, eventually i wanna be able to share presets in there, or lua scripts, or something

@filpizlo@thestanduppod I seriously have no clue what to do about this. I vendorized + statically linked all of my dependencies, including the "stable" ones like libcurl and zlib, but I'm worried it might not be enough. Maybe I should just target Windows and ship a Wine wrapper for Linux. I don't know.

π ability to overwrite preset
π single tap dead area to create band (faster)
π double tap gain/preamp knob to reset to 0 (faster)
π§ preset menu is less ugly (still kinda ugly tho)
π§ stop using UIAlertView for errors (dont have to tap to hide)
π§ fix delete preset
π§ fix emoji presets
its a parametric EQ so there is a steep learning curve
i attached a video which shows how to use the preamp / select your headphones preset
preamp is the slider on the left
to configure it for your headphones, press the preset tab -> AutoEq -> scroll to your heaphones (its alphabetical) -> click your headphones. (this part definitely needs to be easier / more obvious)
@maximumagi@spatiallyjess Yeah this is primarily a drone project. I want full control over the imagery but one way you can help us if you have access to a good downtown SF roof. I will open source the dataset at the end
@filpizlo@AvimanyuRoy3 x64 linux is probably the best platform to support, pretty easy to run in a VM, even on an arm64 mac.
that being said is freebsd x64 supported? my custom test harness uses a freebsd vm and i havent had time to migrate to linux π
