Northern Illinois is expected to hire Northern Michigan head coach Matt Majkrzak, source told @TheFieldOf68.

Majkrzak, a former manager for Brian Wardle at Green Bay, led NMU to four straight conference titles and four straight NCAA tournaments, one of only three D-2 programs to do so.

His team led the country in rebounding margin, offensive efficiency, and fewest turnovers per game.

I just don’t understand how each state hasn’t adopted a shot clock already. The shot clock is the ultimate player development tool at the grassroots/high school. The 24-second FIBA clock that is used at the lowest levels of basketball around the world is the reason players like Jokić and Dončić are such incredible decision-makers. They played with a shot clock since they were in basketball diapers.

Wing Mason Stieber-Pinter (6-3) of Greenfield has committed to NCAA Division III Beloit College. A first-team all-league pick in Woodland East Conference, Stieber-Pinter helped Greenfield to a 23-4 record last winter.
