Walked away from wrestling coverage about 2 1/2 years ago to follow a new dream and now I’m two days away from that coming to fruition 🪐
Don’t let people put you in a box. You can start over whenever you want.
My guess: 23 Jump Street is when they became Men in Black and by the time they piece together why they cant remember that time period (because they were nueralized) Will Smith shows up to save them at the end ala Depp in P1.
Then we get a proper MiB / Jump Street crossover after
Couldn’t agree more.
Every time I interviewed him, he told WWE PR to give us more time at the end because he just wanted to keep chatting about whatever.
He’s also one of the few wrestlers who stayed in touch after I stopped covering wrestling, just because he’s a nice guy.
Genuinely one of the nicest guys I've ever interacted with during my time covering WWE over the last 13 years. As real as it gets, as funny as it gets, as talented as it gets. Wishing @WWESheamus nothing but the best for whatever comes next. What a run ☘️☘️☘️
@BDCprowrestling Imagine calling someone a cuck while coming on here to get on your knees for a billion dollar company to defend them trying to pay a tenured legend half their salary to continue working there. How’s it taste from down there, little man?
As a fan, I wrote my dream scenario of AJ Styles in AEW because it seemed like he was leaving WWE.
You also thought it seemed he was leaving, as seen in the screengrab.
Also never gave him a title match against Roman during Reigns’ long run as champ - not even before or after their WarGames match - despite Sheamus being very over and having banger matches with everyone.
@SJackstaker I think they are directly to blame for sure. They could fight for these guys. They don’t out of fear of losing their positions or lack of care.
New Day & Sheamus should’ve been treated well in WWE until they were ready to retire. The way TKO is disrespecting legends with these attempts to restructure contracts for less money while touting huge success will only hurt them in the long run. Shortsighted business decisions.
When I was researching Sheamus before interviewing him once, I learned he had a pretty awesome theme song before signing with WWE.
It’s like DMX doing an MC Hammer impression.
Bring it back, Sheamus O'Shaunessy.
