Greetings Message from Mr. M. K. Stalin, President of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, on the occasion of the SDPI entering its 18th year:
My heartfelt greetings to the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) as it steps into its 18th year of service, guided by noble principles such as the protection of minority rights, social harmony, social justice, equal opportunity, equality, and the sharing of power with the common people.
The SDPI has grown through various political struggles and challenges. I extend my appreciation and affection to SDPI National President Mr. M. K. Faizy, Tamil Nadu State President Mr. Mohamed Mubarak, and all the party office-bearers who have been working tirelessly for the party’s growth and constructive political contributions.
Although SDPI joined the DMK-led alliance for the first time during the previous Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, the dedication and camaraderie displayed by the SDPI leadership and cadres felt as though we had been long-standing allies. They worked tirelessly and wholeheartedly for the success of the alliance. Wherever I traveled for election campaigning, I witnessed SDPI members participating enthusiastically and expressing their support and goodwill. I fondly recall those moments on this occasion.
I once again extend my sincere best wishes for SDPI to continue its committed efforts toward the upliftment of the common people and to successfully carry forward its political journey. At the same time, I wish to reaffirm, in a spirit of friendship and solidarity, that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's concern for and support of minority welfare will continue steadfastly and permanently.
M. K. Stalin
