SECI signed a 700 MW Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Term Sheet with Acme Cleantech Solutions Private Limited at the SECI office.

This is SECI’s first agreement in the C&I segment, opening a new route for renewable power supply to a varied customer base.

Under the Green Energy Corridor programme, Phase I has been completed in 7 states, with around ₹787 crore released in FY 2025-26 for transmission infrastructure.

India’s renewable energy progress is reaching the agriculture sector through PM KUSUM.

Under the scheme, 25 lakh pumps have been installed or solarised. In FY 2025-26 alone, 13.93 lakh pumps were completed, adding 7,672.35 MW of capacity during the year.

India's renewable energy journey continues to set new benchmarks.

In 2025-26, the country added a record 55.3 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity, more than double the 25 GW added in 2024-25, taking the total installed non-fossil capacity to 283.46 GW.
