I think I'll say everything I want to say in this one post because honestly, I'm tired.
Not angry. Not trying to argue. Just tired.
For a moment, forget the labels. Forget OT6, OT7, pro-boycotter, anti-boycotter, hopium, doomposting, whatever side you belong to.
Just look at what Enville has become.
Sometimes I scroll through the timeline and genuinely wonder how we got here.
How did a fandom built around seven talented people become a place where so many people can't even respect each other anymore?
Every day there's a new argument. A new callout. A new fight. Someone is being accused of something. Someone is being mass quoted. Someone is getting harassed. Someone is getting bullied. And everyone is so busy proving that they're right that nobody stops to think about what all of this is doing to the fandom itself.
We've become so used to fighting that it almost feels normal now.
And that's the saddest part.
Because none of this should be normal.
Death threats shouldn't be normal.
Doxxing shouldn't be normal.
Harassment shouldn't be normal.
Mocking people's mental health shouldn't be normal.
Digging through someone's account looking for reasons to attack them shouldn't be normal.
Treating real human beings like targets instead of people shouldn't be normal.
Yet somehow every week it happens again.
And then we wonder why the fandom feels divided.
Regarding the members, please respect all seven of them.
I don't understand why that's become such a difficult thing to ask for.
Some people seem to think that because Heeseung isn't currently in the group, it suddenly gives them permission to disrespect him, mock him, or erase everything he's done.
It doesn't.
You don't have to bias him.
You don't have to agree with every fan.
But basic respect should never be conditional.
And the same goes for every member.
Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, Ni-ki, and Heeseung.
None of them deserve to be used as weapons in fandom arguments.
They're human beings before they're idols.
And another thing I genuinely don't understand—
Why are people so threatened by hope?
If someone chooses to believe something positive, why does it immediately become a problem?
If someone posts their thoughts, suddenly it's an issue.
If someone expresses hope, suddenly they're being dragged.
If someone interprets a situation differently, suddenly they're accused of disrespect.
Do some of you even know what hate actually means anymore?
Hate is not someone having an opinion you disagree with.
Hate is not someone being hopeful.
Hate is not someone existing on a different side of a fandom discussion.
We've reached a point where people throw around words like "hate" and "disrespect" so casually that they've started losing their meaning.
Real hate is wishing harm on someone.
Real hate is sending threats.
Real hate is intentionally trying to hurt people.
And unfortunately, we've seen far too much of that lately.
What hurts the most is that at the end of the day, we're all here because we cared about the same group.
We're all fans.
Maybe we support them differently.
Maybe we believe different things.
Maybe we disagree on certain topics.
But when did disagreement become a reason to dehumanize each other?
When did being right become more important than being kind?
When did fandom spaces become places where people are scared to speak because they're afraid of being attacked?
If you don't like someone, block them.
Mute them.
Ignore them.
Move on.
Not every post needs a response.
Not every opinion needs a quote tweet.
Not every disagreement needs to become a fandom-wide issue.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is simply keep scrolling.
And honestly, I miss what Enville used to feel like.
I miss when people were excited to support ENHYPEN.
I miss when timelines were filled with appreciation, jokes, achievements, performances, and memories.
Now it feels like every day is another controversy.
Another argument.+
Maybe it’s just me, but cropping him out of the group photo and then featuring his plushie in the next slide is actually insane…wtf is wrong with these people???????
@rikiistruck It's so concerning how obsessed ppl can be to get this serious about kpop, you're not protecting your idol by harming another idol how tf does their brain work
💬: is it normal to be afraid of failure?
🐈: of course it is, everyone~ who’s not afraid of failure?
🐈: saying you’re not afraid of failure is a lie
🐈: if someone says they’re not afraid of failure… isn’t it because they’ve already experienced failure and gone on to succeed 🤍
do you honestly join a collective mob to send g0re vids and death threats to an 18 yo in the name of 'defending your idols' and think to yourselves that you are good people? do you genuinely think your artists would be proud of you for terrorizing a teenager?
seeing hundreds of ppl come together to bully a teenager over k-pop is absolute insanity. you’re not protecting anyone, you're just using your idols as an excuse to satisfy your own disgusting urge to abuse someone safely within a crowd
y’all are sick in the head. your idols would be utterly disgusted by your miserable, abusive asses. get a fucking life and leave her alone
