Patrol Officers contacted a parolee near downtown this past weekend. 1 lb of meth, firearm, and drug sales indicia. We’re being proactive to keep you and your families safe.

We are actively responding to sideshow activity, last night a participant lost his vehicle for 30 days. One subject was arrested for reckless driving, 8 others cited for spectating/participating. We will continue the enforcement.

Last night a car stop was made, a struggle ensued with the driver, who gripped the officers holstered gun and fired a round. In the car was a loaded .40 cal and 46 grams of cocaine packaged for sale. My brothers and sisters, you are desperately needed. God bless the peacekeepers.

Our Officers are working hard to keep our community safe. Two great cases this week. A 17 pound meth seizure with a firearm. A separate unrelated arrest where two felons were found in possession of 3 ‘ghost guns.’

As a lifelong baseball fan, the passing of Bob Gibson stings. An absolute beast. Decades after his last pitch... A lot of amazing pitchers in history....but the great ones had you before you stepped in the box. He was one of them.
