Canvassing for the @CTogether2021 team! No dark money or mystery PAC behind these candidates, just people power & community support! Vote #Column1May11#Collingswood
These guys do NOT like to be challenged (which means they really need to be). A dark money organization going all in to support the 3+ DECADE incumbents in a non-partisan municipal small town election is a sure sign that the Machine feels threatened.
In Collingswood, the only Camden County town where anti-Norcross Dems have gotten a foothold, a dark money group run by a friend of Norcross is papering the town with flyers in support of its incumbents in an ostensibly non-partisan election 🔒https://t.co/8H9jQsCP8h
The line is (rightfully) getting a lot of play, but there’s a lot of other shady election strategies that get pulled out when there’s a close race in South Jersey...
This is the guy running the Collingswood entity spending on behalf of Jim Maley.
With all THREE Norcross brothers AND Steve Ayscue! #Memories

If @DonaldNorcross wants to be in the House progressive caucus and represent a deep blue district, he needs to be out in front leading the charge on #Medicare4All! Universal healthcare is popular AND necessary- and it's shameful that Norcross hasn't supported it yet.
Tuesday night: @MicoLucide KILLS IT in a debate for Atlantic County Clerk. 🔥
Tuesday night, late: SJ machine panics.... ☎️
Weds morning: @CoryBooker - our US SENATOR !!! ??! endorses Mico’s opponent. 🤨
How many US Senators endorse COUNTY CLERKS??

At a time when Republicans are actively working to undermine voting rights, it is absolutely shameful that Camden County, whose government is in full Democratic party control, pulls these kinds of ballot design shenanigans. 2/
In no world is this a logical way to design a ballot- unless of course your goal is to heavily advantage incumbents while making primary challengers hard to find and confusing voters. 1/
A freaking travesty.
@CCDems:
1) Separated mayoral candidate Elton Custis from his council slate mates
2) put all the challenger mayoral candidates IN THE SAME COLUMN. (Competitors! In the same column!)
3) Automatically gave all incumbents column 1
Alleged Pay to play violations are not a good look in election year.
Kudos to these #Collingswood residents doing their due diligence!!!! https://t.co/yyaWAxz3h9
This type of behavior is way too common in South Jersey, and it's great that Collingswood residents aren't standing for it- a powerful lesson for residents of other towns to follow the money! 3/
Collingswood's mayor Jim Maley (a 32-year incumbent!) has filed blank pay to play disclosures for two years, despite the fact that his firm has handled at least $9 million in public contracts and made many political donations. 1/

Prior to starting his own firm, Maley worked at Phil Norcross's firm (you know, Parker McCay, the firm that got caught directly editing EDA legislation that ultimately gave away billions of dollars in corporate tax breaks because an employee forgot to turn off track changes). 2/
We don't see @tanziefornj who ran off the line against van Drew changing parties less than a year in. So what are the criteria for a good candidate again?
Also: does Union County let duly elected county committee members decide on endorsements in a secret vote?
Didn't think so.
