We grossed a pumpkin? Yes! It was a super fun fall activity with SLU path residents!🤩🎃🍎

The pumpkin is received fresh in the farm, and is oriented with a stem designating superior.The specimen is white-tan and spherical with a horizontal central linear scar measuring 20.0 x 1.0 cm.There are multiple superficial areas of discoloration present surrounding the scar.1/1

Sectioning shows a rim of orange, soft, and friable tissue with a central cystic cavity. Multiple seeds are present ranging in size from 0.7 to 1.5 cm in greatest dimension, with an aggregate measurement of 20.0 x15.0 x5.0 cm. The pumpkin is for gross only. No sections are taken.
