Anti-Narcotics Police Station (ANPS) Cracks Drug Network; Co-Accused Financier Arrested

Continuing its relentless crackdown on narcotics, the Anti-Narcotics Police Station, by tracing backward and forward linkages, has apprehended a key co-accused, strengthening efforts to dismantle the drug network.

In a follow-up action in FIR No. 07/2025, the co-accused was identified through technical investigation, including analysis of financial trails, digital records, and backward and forward linkages.

Earlier in 2025, 1.560 kg of ganja was seized, and one accused was charge-sheeted. Further investigation revealed financial linkages within the narcotics network, leading to the apprehension.

On 24/03/2026, in a major anti-narcotics operation, PS Hut Bay team conducted a search at South Bay, Little Andaman and recovered 1.141 Kg Charas (commercial quantity).

A case has been registered under relevant sections of NDPS Act and investigation is underway.

Anti-Narcotics Police Station apprehends drug peddler!

On 21/03/2026, acting on credible intelligence, Anti-Narcotics Police Station conducted a swift operation near Scout Hut Junction (India Map), Sri Vijaya Puram, and apprehended one person.

During search, 1.015 Kg ganja was recovered and seized from the possession of the accused.

The accused has been booked under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985, and further investigation is underway.
