@ERC_Research This is a multidisciplinary 5-year project, hosted by the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at SOAS University of London, which involves focusing on different sports and religions in the four countries.
SOAS's Marloes Janson has been awarded an @ERC_Research Advanced Grant for her project Muscular Faith: The Interplay between Sport and Religion in Africa to study boxing in Nigeria, soccer in South Africa, karate in Egypt, and long-distance running in Kenya with African partners.
