Last Friday, Year 5 embarked on an amazing Viking-themed day, launching us into our new topic. The workshop was not only educational but also fun, packed with a whole day of fantastic activities.
The children at St Paul's were really lucky to have the opportunity to attend ballet workshops for World Ballet Day this week. The workshops were run by a member of staff who was a ballerina with the Royal Ballet.
Harvest Service
We gathered at St Paul's Church this morning for harvest festival. We were challenged by the words of St Paul to 'be generous and willing to share'. We are so grateful for the generosity of the school families for their donation to the Dorking Area food bank.
October is International Walk to School Month, when pupils around the globe celebrate the benefits of walking and wheeling to school. Get active, get moving, get involved - pledge to walk to school in October or scoot, cycle or park and stride.
Homes for Swifts
Sarah Relf from the Manda Slater Memorial Fund came into school and ran two assemblies for the children about swifts. We are delighted to be supporting the charity and have two swift nest boxes at the front of the school so look out for the swifts!
