@Miss_C_History @MrTs_NQTs My degree isn’t in Geography, and hadn’t studied the subject for 6 years and it’s not been a problem. I’d recommend revising as if you were doing an exam. Reading, flash cards etc. But it will come quicker than you think!

Genuinely buzzing to get back teaching 2 weeks today. Massive year ahead, teaching Sociology for the first time and my first TLR as an Assistant Curriculum Lead. Hoping for an uninterrupted full academic year and seeing where I am come the end of it with more experience 💙

@ASBOTeacher @eugenemcfadden @michael_merrick Recruitment is gruelling, 7am to 7pm most days. 100+ calls a day, around 90 will come to nothing. Flip side is exceptional commission which obviously teaching lacks. Being told to go away every day by hiring managers comparable to that year 9 class routinely terrorising you.
